Small Samples of dust were swept from Mt Coot-tha Road outside the Quarry and Botanical gardens entrances.
During the dry Season the dust in the gutters can be as deep as 4mm, but gets washed into the river system when it rains.
Secretly the Quarry recently removed large quantities of vegetation from beside Scenic Drive, this included many mature-growth trees.
