The Legacy Way construction began in April 2011. This project continued to emit loud noise both day and night throughout 2014. This was in addition to the normal quarry blasting.

10th March

Very strong blast on this date was so severe that it caused the electricity supply to fail.
Some local residents were without power for several hours. - link document to be added

25th March

Philip Best writes to LM Quirk stating that we got no response from the residents town plan submission.

26th March

Philip Best with other residents attended the 2014 Council Listens Forum and spoke with LM Quirk afterwards about the quarry.
This was to be the first of a continued contact with LM Quirk, may of his replies did not address the questions that we asked.
