Mt Coot-tha Quarry History of Significant Events - 2000-2001



We believe that sometime in the 1990"s, that 1997 was set and known as the MCQ closure date.
During the period 2001 to 2004 a number of emails were exchanged between residents regarding the quarry operational noise and dust issues, however we have not included them in this list due to privacy considerations.

2000

18th December
MCQ Life Extended to 2002, just before Christmas with no public consultation or notice done.

22th December
SR0041 Evironmental Authority Updated or Created (just before Christmas).
